  • The answer.

Jesus. He came talking about a kingdom that was now available for all. He seemingly despised money and gave the job of carrying His money to a known thief. I cannot think of any social program He endorsed. Instead He talked about changing the way we act and think and then teaching others to do the same.

Multiplication is in the DNA of this kingdom. If it is Gods kingdom, it will multiply and retake the garden, like a mustard plant. Love, joy, servant leadership, selfless giving… these will multiply. On the other hand, some are made eunuchs for the kingdom of Gods sake. There are movements from earthly wisdom that will never multiply. Some even seem really good.

Jesus came saying, I have good news of an available kingdom that is yours to inherit through a changed mind. This really is the only answer this world has. I am more sure than ever that looking first for His kingdom and right ways is the simple, but profound answer.

  • Safe in his arms

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
    Psalm 34:8

  • Fear God

The eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
    Psalm 33:18
  • In Money We Trust

There’s a great irony in the country where I live. Printed across the back of an American dollar bill are the words “In God We Trust.” Yet for most of us, that motto is simply not true. We might say that we trust in God, but our actions show whats really going on. We often give lip service to God, but in our everyday lives we are tempted to trust, serve, and worship the very money on which that slogan is printed.

Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.

There is more to life than money.

His name is Jesus. There is an opportunity outside of your window for you to eternally invest into somebodys soul, through your actions, words and lifestyle. For these are the things of true value, the things that will last forever.

God isn’t against people having money and things, but he certainly hates when money and things have his people.
  • HE>I

We do not ask of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.

  • God’s love for us

You are one of his children. He’s crazy about you. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more. And there is nothing you can do to make God love you less. Love is not something that God does. It is who God is. And because of who he is. God loves you, period.

    1 John 4:8

    Honor Him.

  • Honor among us

Ask yourself what is true genuine Honor?

Many common answers that would seem relatively accurate our here below.

Personal code, core values, polite personalities, nice behavior, or respect.

    However this is not Honor.

These are all their own things.

Most importantly. Honor is not submission. Many times today it looks a lot like submission. “Honor me” = “Submit to me”

We need to understand your not in control of other people, your in control of yourself.

Many times we use conformity, obedience, and punishment to create a artificial culture of honor. IE: Parents, “If you don’t clean your room, you wont ______……” . The reason

In this equation there is no balance, making the true rank established not of genuine honor. There is a idea being introduced that might sound new to you.

A new government of love will be established.

With no punishment, could you be introducing chaos?

It sounds like a risky operation, but in order to experience true Honor and Love you have to experience freedom. This is why the Lord takes so much Joy in us choosing him, because we operate in freedom. There is no fear of punishment in love.

So what is it that keeps us in line?

Well the answer is, a balanced equation.

Honor is nothing less than two powerful people in a relationship who have the ability to communicate while they stay connected, getting their needs met for eachother no matter what situation their in.

    Honor Him

    Love Him.

  • Lesson from Dad

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
    Colossians 3:23-24
The criticism of man can’t touch me, because I won’t let the praise of man touch me either.
  • South Africa

This is my South African main man. Fader is his name, he is a man of courage and vision. I had the amazing oppoprtunity to see the African lifestyle through the eyes of a real loc. Establishing friendship halfway across the world has its pros and cons. I miss him like crazy already, and I just left. I doubt he will ever see this post, but if you do. Fader Uyamzi Uyesu Kuthanda! (Do you know that Jesus Loves you.) Shop bra!

  • For my wonderful parents. I hope you guys are doing amazing. I can see your hearts are being stirred from the other side of the world, just as mine is. You guys truly deserve nothing but the best. This seed you guys have planted in my heart since I was a kid fell on super soft soil and is beginning to look like an orchard these days. One day your going to see that orchard when there’s a thousand african kids in the kitchen instead of on the streets. Dad with the money you gave me, Leo paid his rent for the month and all the kids get to eat twice a day for the month, most importantly they learn about the man that created them. Love you guys.
